A cool rainy day - but a good time was had by all! As you can tell our dress code was relaxed to accomodate raingear. A field of 40 + riders - more than half juniors - started the day. Junior riders ( under 18 years of age ) assisted in leading the field, whipper-in duties etc. The wet cold conditions sent about 6 riders back an hour early for various reasons. The snacks and beverages provided by the 'whopee wagon' were much appreciated by the riders as well as the car followers ( about 10 vehicles ) . No serious mishaps were reported and no ground testers were earned ( by unexpected dismounts ) on this day though. The group retired to Quail Run stables for a great luncheon provided by MFH Urban and some great conversation.
